Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BeresBill (the "Service"), operated by Allwayon Web Services (Business Registration No. 201403328157) ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

BeresBill provides tools for creating invoices, managing clients and products, and generating documents formatted for Malaysia's LHDN e-Invoice requirements. We are a software provider, not a tax agent or advisor. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy of the business, tax, and invoice information you enter, and for your own compliance with LHDN and any other applicable tax or legal obligations.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits and Payment

The Service is billed on a prepaid credit basis. You purchase credit bundles at the prices listed on our Pricing page, and credits are deducted as you use specific features. Payments are processed by our third-party payment gateways, ToyyibPay and Chip; we do not store your full card or bank credentials. Except where required by law, credit purchases are non-refundable once credits have been added to your account, and unused credits do not expire unless stated otherwise at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change for future purchases; changes will not affect credits you already hold. See our Refund & Credits Policy for the full policy, including what happens to any remaining balance if you close your account.

Ownership guarantee for one-time (Lifetime) feature unlocks: once you have unlocked a Lifetime feature, it remains unlocked for as long as your account exists, at no further cost, even if that feature's listed price later increases for new purchases. If we release an enhancement or upgrade to a Lifetime feature you already own, you receive it at no additional charge — we will not require existing owners to pay again to access improvements to a feature they've already unlocked. If we ever discontinue a Lifetime feature entirely, we will either continue to honor existing owners' access, or provide a reasonable equivalent or credit remedy; we will not simply revoke access you've already paid for.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate fraudulent documents, misrepresent your identity or business, violate any applicable law, or attempt to interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe violate this section.

6. Referral / Affiliate Program

If you participate in our referral program, you may earn a one-time reward (as credits, or cash settled at our discretion) when someone you refer makes a qualifying first purchase, on the terms displayed to you at the time. We may withhold, adjust, or reverse a referral reward if we reasonably determine it resulted from fraud, abuse, self-referral, or a violation of Section 5 (Acceptable Use). Referral rewards are not a form of employment, partnership, or agency, and are subject to the same non-cash-redeemable treatment described in our Refund & Credits Policy where paid as credits.

7. Team Members and Delegated Access

You may invite team members to your business, or grant delegated (including read-only) access to a third party such as an accountant. Doing so shares the relevant business, client, and invoicing data in your account with that invited person, to the extent of the role or access level you assign them. You are responsible for who you invite and for revoking access when it is no longer needed; we are not responsible for how an invited member or delegate uses access you granted them.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the business, client, and invoice data you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit Your Content, including any client or personal data.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any tax penalties, disputes with your customers, or losses arising from inaccurate information you entered. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms or for extended inactivity, with reasonable notice where practicable. Specifically, an account with no activity for 12 consecutive months is treated as dormant, and any remaining credit balance is forfeited per our Refund Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
